Privacy Policy

We treat the privacy of RFID Update subscribers very seriously, and we are committed to protecting it.

To subscribe to RFID Update, a user voluntarily provides his/her email address, first name, last name, country of residence, occupation industry and function, and, optionally, company name and mailing address. Once this information is submitted, the RFID Update system dispatches to the new subscriber an email with a registration verification URL. The subscriber must visit this URL to activate the subscription. This process of "double opting in" verifies the intention of each subscriber to receive our email publication.

By subscribing to RFID Update, the subscriber consents to receive promotional communications sent by or on behalf of RFID Update and its partner companies. We reserve the right to send email and/or postal promotions from carefully screened sponsors, as is standard practice in email trade publishing. In sending the occasional promotion, we never compromise privacy. Promotional emails are always sent by us through our email system.

On an individual basis, subscriber information is never distributed, sold, or otherwise provided to third parties. We may occasionally provide demographic data — including, but not limited to, industry, country, and job function — to our trusted partners to help them effectively deliver messages to the subscriber base. Again, such information would be on an aggregate, not individual, basis.

RFID Update subscribers may opt out of future mailings at any time by either clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE link that appears at the bottom of every newsletter or by submitting the removal request directly to subscriptions08 at rfidupdate dot com. Doing so will prevent the subscriber from receiving all future mailings, including RFID Update issues and third-party promotions.
