John Burnell is the most experienced RFID journalist working in the industry today. He has covered RFID, RTLS, and related technologies since 1990, having served as U.S. and European editor-in-chief of leading automatic identification industry publications Frontline Solutions and Automatic ID News. He has also been a speaker and organizer of several industry conferences and exhibitions, including Frontline Solutions Expo, SCAN-TECH, and ID Expo. John currently runs Burnell Reports, which provides communications, research, marketing, PR, and market education services to technology companies and associations. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (BSJ) degree from Ohio University and resides in the Cleveland area.
